Artist Statement

Both “Beneath the Surface” and “Totem of Light and Reflection” were born from a shared exploration of depth, transparency, and the interplay of light. Using extra clear optical glass, these works are an invitation to look beyond the surface and into the layers hidden beneath. What we see is often just the beginning, and that true insight requires patience, reflection, and a willingness to explore beyond the obvious.
